We have an outstanding Contract position for aReceptionist to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DCsurrounding area.

On an onsite basis, the selected individual for this position will staff the Reception Desk at the main entry point to the Washington office and perform other duties as assigned.


  • Answer phone calls, greet visitors, monitor entrance, and check in visitors through the security visitor application.

  • Issue visitor badges per Security instruction

  • Direct calls and provide information to clients, staff, and other visitors or callers.

  • Notify employees when guests arrive.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Facilities' service requests and enter and update work orders.

  • Use Excel to create and analyze Facilities metrics as requested.

  • Interact with vendors and couriers and direct accordingly.

  • Manage commuter incentives, including tracking, onboarding, and offboarding employees, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Assist with office-wide communication.

  • Assist with employee and visitor reservations of workspace and conference rooms.

  • Schedule meetings.

  • Create and submit Security logs as needed.

  • Assist with training and documentation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • 1-2 years related experience required.

  • High school degree is required. A college degree is preferred.

  • Specific technical skills: PC computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel required; effective interpersonal and organizational skills required; excellent written and verbal communication skills required; familiarity with office telephone systems and scheduling software preferred.
