TAD PGS, Inc. Project Engineer in Stuart, Florida
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aProject Engineer to join a leading Company located in theStuart, FL surrounding area.
The project engineer will cover all aspects of the gas turbine production process, from project planning and documentation, to managing relationships with subcontractors and facilitating communication among all stakeholders, both internal and external. This is a senior role and requires a mature engineer to set goals and accomplish objectives on schedule and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:
Create an organized schedule for each assigned project
Identify and create milestones within each project's schedule that are required for keeping the schedule on track
Oversee project budget and schedule and report regularly to upper management, as well as problems that could significantly affect cost or schedule
Source and build relationships with subcontractors to meet objectives of cost, quality, and scheduling needs
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
Collaborate with the Design Engineering team to address design challenges and guarantee adherence to quality standards during the production process
Coordinate the companies project specifications/requirements in adherence to all our contractual obligations
Travel within the US and International as required, sometimes on short notice and for extended periods
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Strong background in design and/or manufacturing engineering, problem-solving, and coordination
Supplier Management with some gas turbine design experience, minimum 2 years
3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on manufacturing technologies and materials related to manufacturing of IGT hardware
Proficiency in project planning software for project reporting and managing projects through Gantt charts
