TAD PGS, Inc. Assembler in Newington, New Hampshire
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an Assemblerto join a leading Company located in theNewington, NH surrounding area.
1st shift $17.75/hr 6:00am -2:30pm M-F
Assemblers receive, assemble, disassemble, refinish, reassemble, perform final assembly, inspection, and ready various firearms for quality testing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Regular on-site attendance/punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
Assemblers are responsible for all department-related assembly tasks as directed by the department Lead/Supervisor or an appointed representative.
Product assembly includes but is not limited to, piece part preparation, slide assembly, frame assembly, configuration modification, various firearm assembly, product packaging, and magazine assembly.
All assembly assignments will be completed through the interpretation and comprehension of written and verbal instructions
Small hand tools and machinery are used in these endeavors and require manual dexterity as well as basic safety awareness.
Participates in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintains their working area in good working order through sustainment activities.
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
Education/ Experience & Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 0+ years of experience.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to read and understand directions, work instructions, and basic blueprints.
Ability to demonstrate a continued desire to learn and interpret information clearly and accurately. Receive, and interpret information clearly, accurately, thoroughly, and effectively encompassing all interpersonal, cross-functional, and peer group settings.
Ability to work in a team environment share information respect and assist other team members.
