Job Description:

Seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kent, Washington.

Candidate should have strong analytic and system skills. Ability to learn quickly, integrate well with a team, ability to support customers and establish valuable business partnerships with multiple organizations.

The Procurement Analyst's statement of work includes a variety of Supply Chain functions, including, but not limited to Purchase Requirement (PR) setup, loading requirements into system, managing and tracking PRs and Purchase Orders (POs). Supports metrics generation and analysis. Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators. Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan. Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals. Supports the development and implementation of strategies. Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows. Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis. Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders. Develops risk mitigation plan.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Phantom Works, Space Mission Systems programs and leadership team

  • Support Purchase Requirement (PR) creation

  • Assemble data from multiple sources to deliver informational and technical materials including proposals, briefings, management reviews, tracking performance to plan, and status reports to customers and senior management

  • Conduct research and analyze data from multiple sources

  • Partner with Program and Core Business Operations teams

  • Develop, coordinate and assess architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings

  • Consult and guide strategic planning for workshop activity integration, strategic initiative tracking, and visibility

  • Research and evaluate organizational issues, identify options and recommend solutions

  • Create and manage databases, share points, and web reports

  • Develop plans for long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives

  • Lead development of employee-related activities and initiatives (employee survey action plans, all-employee meetings, award programs, safety activities, etc.)

  • Communicate verbally and in writing on behalf of leadership

  • Collate and deliver informational or technical materials

  • Develop reports, briefings and other documentation for customers and employees

Technical Competencies

  • Procurement Systems

Knowledge of the procurement process used at company sites in order to track procurement obligations such as, schedule compliance, quantity and past performance. Overall knowledge of processes used in procurement activities such as supplier selection, identification of requirements bid list development, supplier/subtler management and supplier recommendations for goods and services.

Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
